Digital Fusion terms of use
These terms are between you and Digitalise, a division of Digital Mall (Pty) Ltd. By using Digital Fusion you agree to them.
1. What Digital Fusion is
Digital Fusion sells prepaid credit that buys answers from artificial intelligence models built by other companies. Today those companies are Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, OpenAI and SpaceXAI. You choose which one answers each question, and the app tells you which one answered.
An AI model writes every answer. No person reads your question and replies to it. A model can be wrong, and it can be confidently wrong, so check anything that matters before you act on it. Do not rely on an answer for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions without confirming it with somebody qualified.
2. You must be 18 or older
Digital Fusion is for adults. You confirm that you are 18 or older when you sign up. We will close an account we believe belongs to a child.
3. How you may and may not use it
You may use Digital Fusion for any lawful purpose.
You agree to follow the usage policies of the company whose model answers you. Those policies are part of these terms, and the current versions are published at anthropic.com/legal/aup, policies.google.com/terms/generative-ai/use-policy, openai.com/policies/usage-policies and x.ai/legal/acceptable-use-policy. DeepSeek publishes no separate usage policy; the restrictions that bind you there are in its platform terms, at cdn.deepseek.com/policies/en-US/deepseek-open-platform-terms-of-service.html.
You must not use Digital Fusion to:
- break any law, or help anybody else break one;
- produce sexual material involving children, in any form, ever;
- produce material that sexually exploits or abuses any person;
- threaten, harass, stalk or defame a person;
- incite violence against a person or a group;
- get instructions for weapons, explosives, or attacks on people or infrastructure;
- get instructions for taking your own life or harming yourself, or encourage anybody else to;
- create malicious software, or find your way into a system you have no right to be in;
- impersonate a real person or organisation, or produce material designed to deceive people about who wrote it;
- deceive people about an election, a public health matter or a legal process;
- resell, redistribute or repackage the answers as a service of your own;
- build a competing model by feeding its training on Digital Fusion output;
- get around a limit, a cap or a safety measure in the app, or automate the app in a way it does not offer.
4. What happens when you break these terms
We screen messages before they reach a model, and a message that fails is refused and costs you nothing.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. A suspended account cannot sign in or spend, and the credit on it is not refunded. We may report material to the authorities where the law requires it, and material involving children will be reported.
5. Credit, and what it does not do
Credit is prepaid and buys answers at the prices the app shows you before you ask. Credit is not money, carries no interest, cannot be transferred out, and is not refundable once spent. Nothing renews on its own and we keep no card on file.
If we make a billing mistake we will correct it with a credit adjustment.
6. Your information
What we keep, what leaves, and how long we hold it are set out in the notice in the app under Settings. In short: your conversations, and the files, documents and pictures in them, are kept on our servers for 30 days and then deleted; nothing you write is used to train a model; your number is never stored in readable form; and your question goes to the model provider you chose so it can be answered.
You can delete a conversation at any time, and you can delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account deletes your conversations, files, pictures, notes and profile, and signs you out everywhere. We keep the record of what you bought and spent, without your name, number or anything else that identifies you, because the law requires us to keep sales records.
We report how you use Digital Fusion, never what you write, to the customer platform we message you from: your credit and what kind of question you spend it on, your age range, your phone's operating system, how you signed up and your app language. If you allow notifications, your first name goes too, so a message can greet you by name. The app also asks that platform for the messages we send you, keeps them under Messages for 30 days, and tells it when you open one. Turning off Help improve the app in Settings stops all of it and removes what was sent.
7. The answers, and who owns them
You own what you type. As between you and us, you may use the answers you receive for any purpose these terms allow. We claim no ownership of them. We cannot promise an answer is original, because a model may produce something similar for somebody else.
8. What we do not promise
Digital Fusion is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that a model will be available, or that an answer will be correct or fit any purpose. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to the credit on your account.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. A material change is put to you in the app before it applies, and continuing to use Digital Fusion after that is your acceptance. The version at the top of this document tells you which wording you agreed to.
10. Law, and reaching us
South African law governs these terms, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act are not limited by anything above.
